Three Facets of CM
1. Pastoral Care Facet
In order to meet the MBB needs for identity, community and belonging in their newfound faith, CM is formed as a new ecclesiastical movement of Christ’s one Church, not to separate her from any existing jurisdictions, but to establish a well-ordered ecclesiastical body of the emerging multitudes of MBBs who, for various reasons, cannot be integrated into existing local churches (if indeed there are any). CM recognizes and respects other jurisdictions of the Lord Jesus Christ’s one Church and seeks cooperation, and fellowship with them.
2. CM Missional Facet
The CM missional facet manifests itself in training, equipping and commissioning of MBBs to be effective missionaries within the context of their own countries, and in the Diaspora.
3. CM Community / Cooperative Facet
CM is a canonically organized part of the one holy universal missional Church of the Lord Jesus, the one household of God which is built upon the foundation of the Apostles and Prophets, with Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone (Ephesians 2:17-22). As such, we seek communion, inter-communion, and partnerships with other churches and Christian institutions.
